All you need is special ammo scavenger mod on your legs and you’re good to go! If you run into a guardian and you have the intrinsic active, they’re pretty much a free kill. Now I know what you’re thinking, but Lord of Wolves is still kinda good, you can just have to use it strategically! Gone are the days of deleting a super, but not all hope is lost. Not much else can beat you if they’re in your range because the slug shot, so have fun abusing a strong weapon! Honorable Mention Moreover, with its high handling, you can swap super fast enabling you to get quick and easy kills. With its intrinsic perk “The Roadborn” you can quickly chain kills if you have the skills. With that out of the way, Chaperone is a fantastic slug shotgun for crucible or trials. If you shatter-dive and use Chaperone, you’re literally scum of the earth. Explination:įirst off if you decide to use this weapon in PvP, you’re no better than a shatter-diving hunter. Precision kills briefly grant bonus handling, range, and precision damage with this weapon. The catalyst is useful but there are better options out there in terms of hand cannons. Really, the only thing going for this weapon is it is the last 150 in Destiny 2. This weapon fires explosive rounds and highlights targets that take damage from Sunshot. Besides the intrinsic, it has some amazing stats and a clean sight. Its kinda hard to fully utilize its intrinsic perk but you can still shut down people, even if you miss a few headshots. Explination:įor PvP, Hawkmoon will get the job done. Stowing Hawkmoon on the final round removes this bonus. The final round in the magazine deals bonus damage based on the number of stacks. Hawkmoonįinal blows and precision hits with Hawkmoon grant stacks of Paracausal Charge. Moreover, with it being a 140, it’s a fast-firing hand canon with a lot of range so if your aim is solid, you won’t have much trouble winning duels. This is useful because it’ll put them at a health disadvantage in a stop/start duel. I know it’s great in Comp or Trials because if someone peaks and you hit them, they’ll hide for a bit to let devourer do its thing. Now, personally, I don’t have much experience with Thorn since I always favored Ace but the people I’ve talked to love thorn because of its intrinsic perk. Kills with this weapon leave behind Remnants. Rounds pierce targets and deal damage over time. Also, you have radar active while aiming down sights and that’s extremely useful when dealing with jumpy hunters or shotgun apes.

To fully take advantage of this, I highly recommend applying some hand cannon target mods on your helmet for bigger bullet hitboxes. This only gets worse because when prock moment mori, your bullets go from three heads shots for a kill to two heads shots and one body shot. Basically, Ace has the range and damage of a 120 hand canon post nerf while having the speed of a 140. Explination:Īce of spades is one of the best hand cannons in the game because of its high base stats and forgiving intrinsic perks. Reloading after a kill loads magazine with a few extra-damage bullets. Tune in next week for an auto rifle meta-list.
From my experience playing and chasing god rolls, below, I have included the meta exotics of all types that will hopefully give you an edge while playing Destiny 2 Crucible or Trials. With the introduction of new weapons after the purge called “sunsetting”, a new PvP meta has emerged.
